KIPDA Social Services offers programs to assist individuals who are aging or disabled get access to services.

Transportation Services

  • Must be 60 yrs. of age and older
  • Live in Bullitt, Jefferson, Henry, Trimble, Oldham, Spencer and Shelby Counties
  • Rides are free of charge currently SHIP (State Health Insurance Program)
  • Assistance with benefits counseling
  • Drug plan comparisons

In-Home Services

  • Must be 60 years of Age or older
  • Be at risk to be placed in a nursing home but could live at home with assistance.
  •  Requires help with, Personal Care, Respite, Homemaking, Home Delivered Meals and Home Repairs.

Aging and Disability Resource Center

  • Information assistance
  • Referral services

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program

  • Supplemental Services for grandparents with primary responsibility for their grandchildren.

Family Caregiver Program

  • Supplemental Services for families with primary caregiver roles for loved one 60 years of age or older.
