Each year there are many goals set to make better health decisions! This year resolve to make S.M.A.R.T Goals: Weight loss, fitness and all other goals are better reached when they move from words written on a paper or thoughts in our heads to SMART goals. Which are specifically written down and thought out with action steps.

Take the goal of getting more exercise in 2018 and make it a SMART goal easily:

Specific: I want to join my neighborhood YMCA’s water aerobics class.
Measureable: I want to join the class offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays weekly.
Achievable: I want to sign up for classes by January 30th.
Realistic: I plan to attend a minimum of 1 class per week for the month of February.

Here are some other ideas for you to practice making your very own SMART goals for 2018:

  • Eat Healthier.
  • Drink more water.
  • Get more active.
